A Ming Blue and White porcelain Kaiseki dish made for the Japanese Market, Late Ming, Transitional Period, Chongzhen 1628-1644. Decorated with the Three Friends of Winter, Pine, Bamboo and Prunus. The gnarled pine tree in the center is twisted to form a Chinese `Shou` character meaning Luck and Blessings. The border is of informal scrolling plants including Lingzhi fungus.

Heavy and solidly potted Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form porcelain jar decorated in the transitional style in underglaze blue with lotus flower heads among dense scrolling foliage set against a white ground. A large Chinese Porcelain censor with blue monochrome exterior and white interior. There are three rounded bumps at the base that represent the three feet of a censor. The bowl measures about 5 1/2" high x 9 3/4" in diameter and dates to the Ching Dynasty. The condition is very good with some interior kiln flaw and glaze crawl. Circa 1750 Chinese export Nanking Cargo blue and white porcelain tea bowl and saucer. The cup and saucer were recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East India Company ship "De Geldermalsen", which sank in 1751 near Java. The recovered pieces from the wreck are now referred to as "The Nanking Cargo". Both cup and saucer still retain the original Christie's label from the auction held in Amsterdam in 1986. saucer measures 4.75ʺdiameter. Cup diameter is 3".Cup with saucer measures 2.25ʺ high

Chinese Blanc de Chine Quan Yin seated on a resting elephant. Quan Yin, goddess of great compassion, is holding 2 lotus flowers, one of which is broken symbolizing a broken spirit. She is holding both pieces of the stem in her hand. The lotus symbolizes purity, spiritual enlightenment, and in this case, new beginnings or rebirth. Excellent detailing and in excellent condition, it dates end of 2nd quarter 20th century. Measures 7.5ʺ wide × 4.5ʺ deep × 12ʺ high.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain jar decorated in famille verte enamels with two central panels on opposing sides. One panel features a veranda with a woman kneeling before an official and his attendant. The opposing panel depicts beauties and children in a garden setting. Between the two large panels are two smaller floral roundels. The panels are set against a cream-colored crackled glaze background densely covered in rust-red flowers and green scrolling foliage...

A Collection of four medium sized porcelain boxes used to decorate the ancestral altar. The boxes are in the shape of a peach, a persimmon, a melon and a squash, and all have turquoise glazed interiors. Such boxes were used to hold trinkets and precious offerings when worshiping ones' ancestors. The peach measure 3" in diameter, The melon measures 3 1/4" in diameter, the persimmon measures 3 1/2" long, and the squash measures 3 3/4" long. The peach and melon are in excellent condition...

Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi marked baluster form cabinet vase densely decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with four vertical rectangular landscape panels surrounded by a background of flowers floating on water. Geometric bands at the top rim. Slightly flared base and unglazed stepped foot. A robust and well executed six-character kaishu Kangxi period mark in a double ring is on the glazed base. 6 3/4" high. Possibly of the period and no later than circa 1900...

Unusually large Chinese late Qing compressed globular form incense burner with slightly everted rim supported by three short legs and covered overall with an amber-colored monochrome crackled glaze that extends to cover the bottom of the feet. The glaze drips down the walls into the unglazed interior. This censer is likely from a South China kiln. A custom-made heavy hardwood stand is included. Estimated to date from the 19th century...

Very Fine KANGXI Blue and White Chinese Porcelain Plate of classical beauty with blue under glaze depicting a rare and exquisitely rendered hexagonal 6-pointed star shaped center medallion, surrounded by detailed flower reserves and diaper panels of Ruyi shape. The back of the plate also has some painted decor. Period: ca. 1700. Condition: good with very minor and inconsequential rim chips/frits. Size: 10" (26 cm.) diameter.
