Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - 16th C. Crane

This unusual blue & white porcelain bowl was made during the mid to late 16th century c.1560-1580. The outer surface remains undecorated whereas the inner surface is particularly elaborately decorated. In the centre is a standing bird, most likely a crane (a symbol of longevity), together with various plants and blossoms...

Antique Chinese enameled plate, 19th century Qing (Ching) Dynasty period. Hand Painted to the interior with famille rose decoration of flowers and Chinese inscription.
Measurements: 22.5 cm (8 7/8 in) in diameter.
Condition: in good condition, no cracks or repairs except for a chipped glaze on the green leaf...

A pair of Chinese Export plates, meticulously enameled in over-glaze blue and gilt. Diameter "7¾/ 19,5 cm. Condition: slight wear to the well, one plate with a hairline (cf. pics).

Cup and saucer, both with a flower border in underglaze blue and a peony in the center. The exterior with a light Café-au-lait variation of the brown “Batavia” glaze (Batavia being the Dutch name for the VOC shipping harbour, today's Jakarta). Yongzheng, early 18th century, the base with a shop mark. Diameter of saucer "4 ½ / 11.5 cm, height of cup "1 2/3/ 4.3 cm. Condition: the cup with three chips to the rim and foot rim, two of them with old repairs (cf. pics).

Delicate small porcelain Buddha with gilt glaze and a beautiful expression on his face- produced in the 2nd half of the 20th century from Jingdezhen- there is an apocryphal Qianlong mark in seal script on the back, perfect condition! H: 9cm/3.5in and W: 5.5cm/2.in.

A small blue and white Chinese stem dish, 19th century. In excellent condition, thick unctuous glaze and nice form. This would make a nice ring or jewelry dish! It measures 4" across by 2" high.

Cobalt blue MING bowl with nice dragon. Under glazed mark, rim on base, foot and around inner medallion. Double rims on top inside and outside. 3 chips and hairlines, no cracks nor restorations. Size: 2.75" (7 cm.) x 6" (15.5 cm.) diameter

Chinese blue and white porcelain Incense Burner or censer, made in later part of 1800's to early 1900's' 3 3/8" high, 7 1/4" diameter, various style of bands in underglaze blue, unglazed area inside half way down to the bottom. Black ink writings on the bottom under the thick white glaze round dot, about 3/4" wide. No damage or restoration.

This is a very fine old Chinese shallow bowl made in the popular Butterfly pattern. It is in very good condition with minor wear and a tiny flea bite to the glaze on the rim. It measures 9 1/2 inches across and 1 1/2 inches deep.

A traditional blue and white peony design Chinese porcelain wine pot with original lid. The pot measures about 6" high x 3" in diameter and 7" wide, and dates to the mid 18th Century, . Condition: The condition is excellent with a very early, very fine, copper repair to the handle. There is some fretting around the edge of the stopper. Free shipping within the USA.

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Censer, 3 1/4" high, 7" diameter-top rim, 3 5/8" diameter-bottom rim, Ca. between 1880 - 1920, with underglaze blue bands of geometric Chinese symbol decoration outside, inside half way down is unglazed. Bottom outside is unglazed with some black script. The condition is good, no damage.

Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain shape Jar, 8" high, 8 1/4" wide-widest middle section, 3 1/2" diameter-top rim, 6 1/2" diameter-bottom, Ca. 1920, with overglaze decoration of Chinese Happiness Characters with two(2) bats inside four(4) round Cartouches surrounded by sprays of pink Peony flowers. Chinese Export wax seal is placed on the bottom, some glaze crazing inside the jar, and minor wears caused by many years of usage in the kitchen.

Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain Ginger jar,7" high, 7 1/2" wide-widest middle section, 2 3/4" diameter-top rim, 5 5/8" diameter-bottom, Ca. 1920, with overglaze famille Jaune design with Chinese Happiness characters with Bats on top and bottom inside four(4) Cartouches and Peony flowers decorated outside. There are some glaze crazing and scratches on the surface.

Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain round shape Ginger Jar, Ca. 1920, 7 1/2" high, 7" wide- widest middle area, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, with overglaze Happiness Chinese character inside 4 round circle wrapped around double bats, filled with sprays of pink Peony floral branches. Inside the bottom shows some rough finish stains, not crack, outside bottom is completely sealed and finished surface. Some old frits around inner rim area and some surface scratches on the glazed area.

A moulded porcelain chrysanthemum shaped bowl decorated on the outside in blue and white enamels with stylized scrolling lotus flowers and bats 'Fu' (good luck). Incorporated within this pattern are three overglaze red and gold 'Shou' (long life) characters. The base carries the iron red reign mark of the Daoguang emperor (1821-1850).
