A Chinese “Master of the Rocks” Saucer Dish, Kangxi, late 17th century. Typically, the decoration relies heavily on the techniques of contemporary ink painters with attention to naturalistic detail and various wet brush effects. The border of waterweed-like fronds appears on many such Master of the Rocks ceramics. The back is entirely plain.

One from a pair of Guan Jar with completed cover, decorated with a pair of Dragons chasing flaming pearl, base glazed and with six character mark of 'Da Ming Jia Jing Nien Zhe' and of the period. This way of mark write is right one as well, but it's near and predictable as early Jiajing if compare with 'Zhengde' mark and change to be another characters on the middle and later Jiajing till Longqing and Wanli period. A rare and beautiful original Vung Tau vase with five painted panels of flowers. Condition: One tiny chip on the rim. See photo. Shiny clear glaze gone and some minor staining from under salt water for many centuries. Size:H.11.5cm. W.4.6cm.

A Late Ming dynasty Wanli period blue and white large Kendi / pouring vessel with rare galloping Horse and flower motif. Condition: Top part and near spout part has been damage and restored, please see picture for detail, Size: 19 cm height, 13 cm diameter.

A Chinese Blue and white porcelain bottle vase from late Ming dynasty, circa 1600. Condition: There are two very faint hairlines on the top of the vase, and some kiln faults on the body. Please see photos for details. Height:9-5/8".

A Chinese porcelain bowl with fluted wall/ blue and white motifs decorations, an unreadable mark inside the foot rim. Ming Dynasty Jiajing to Longqing period, circa mid-16th century. Condition: minor kiln faults and a few tiny glaze flakes on the rim, photo #6 shows two example of them. The bowl is not in a perfect round shape. Please refer to photos for condition details. A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar decorated with dramatic and humoristic animals and other motifs, and two unreadable characters on the bottom. The jar was made in early 17th century, probably for exporting. Condition: Perfect condition with three very short kiln cracks as shown on photos. Diameter: 4-7/8", height:3-3/4".

Chinese Export "Hatcher" Shipwreck covered Blue and White Porcelain Paste Ink Box, Ca. 17th C., 1 1/8" high include cover, 2 1/8" diameter, underglaze blue Sun Flower design is very detailed under the slightly Celadon Green glaze, the fine brush strokes are very well done. This beautiful Paste Ink box was auctioned as one of the "Hatcher Shipwreck Collection" sale in June 1984 in Amsterdam by Christie's. Red round small label by Christie's is still attached on the bottom...
