This is the God of Happiness, or the Fu star, with wonderful and elaborate famille-rose enamel mandarin robes with flowers and flower pots on his robes. He also holds a small child, which is one of his recognizable attributes. He is said to have once lived as governor Yang Cheng of Daozhou. Yan Cheng had risked his life writing a memorial to the emperor in order to abolish dwarf slavery...

A matching pair of QING DYNASTY Blue & White Chinese Porcelain Stem Bowls with underglaze cobalt blue painting of figures outside, a double ring medallion and a border rim decor inside as well as double rings on the base. Fine condition. Size: 15.25 cm. diameter (6" diameter).

This is a rare large chinese porcelain Guanyin statue dating to the Qing Dynasty. The statue is sitting on a lotus base, right hand putting on the front of the chest, left hand holding a bottle. The face expression looks very serious and sincerely. Great item.
