This is one of the most well painted Kangxi "flower basket" plates I've seen, in an excellent shade of Kangxi cobalt blue. Please compare with a similar "flower basket" plate in the British Museum (Franks.221).

$450.00 Very fine and rare KANGXI (1662-1722) Blue & White Porcelain Stem Bowl depicting foilage, butterflies, an egret, flowers and lotus with a center medallion. Flared rim with a Lingzhi head design. Double circles mark on base and surrounding the medallion.
Excellent condition, no chips, hairlines or restorations. Size: H. 8 cm. x 18.5 cm diameter. Elegant proportions.

An export blue and white plate decorated with a bird and floral patterns. Kangxi period (1662-1722). Marked with an Artemisia leaf. Diameter 27 cm. The silver handle was added in 1854 by the wellknown Dutch silversmith J.M. van Kempen in Utrecht(later in Voorschoten). In the 19th century it was very fashionable in The Netherlands to add silver mounts, lids and handles to antique porcelain objects. Silvermarks: walking lion (silver grade 835), minerva head, maker's mark and year letter U for 1854...
A Chinese famille verte saucer-dish painted with a leaping iron-red horse beside willow and peony within a diaper border, Kangxi period, c. 1700-1720. 22cms diam. Good condition.

Late Kangxi Period, Qing Dynasty Porcelain with underglaze cobalt blue D: 23.5 cm h: 5.3 cm Restored chip, faint 3 cm hairline to rim From a Paris, France estate A charming Kangxi mark and period soup dish / bowl in the late Ming "klapmuts" shape and layout, painted with warriors on horseback and flora against rockwork... Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi marked baluster form cabinet vase densely decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with four vertical rectangular landscape panels surrounded by a background of flowers floating on water. Geometric bands at the top rim. Slightly flared base and unglazed stepped foot. A robust and well executed six-character kaishu Kangxi period mark in a double ring is on the glazed base. 6 3/4" high. Possibly of the period and no later than circa 1900...
