Rare Chinese Ming Dynasty Monochrome Moulded Porcelain Wine Cup
This rare porcelain wine cup was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) or possibly a little earlier. To the lower body is a band of moulded Buddhist rui lappets together with a moulded seal mark within the foot. The white porcelain body is particularly translucent, highly-fired with a high-pitched ring when tapped. Diameter 5.5 cm, height 3.5 cm... **Sold** through our Liverpool shop June 2022 A very rare under glaze blue decorated porcelain bowl, decorated on the outside with a stylized Japanese Honeysuckle pattern in the Doucai manner with 'dovetailed' over glaze green, iron red and yellow enamels.
This item was made in China, in the first half of the 19th Century, in the Imperial kilns, for the court of the Daoguang emperor (1821-1850)...

Price on Request A very rare and unusual lotus form bowl on three lotus bud and seed pod feet very finely painted to the interior with vibrant Famille Rose enamels depicting bats and lotus amongst multiple sylized flower scrolls on a turquoise ground.
This item was made in China during the reign of the Jiaqing Emperor (1796-1820) or late in the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795).
Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration.

Sold in our Liverpool shop - April 2019 / 利物浦店内售出 - 2019年4 月 A rare small wine cup painted with stylized lotus scrolls in underglaze blue. The base carries the six character mark of the Guangxu emperor and it was made during his reign (1875-1908).
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoraton.
5.5cm (2.2 inches) diameter; 3cm (1.2 inches) high.

Condition: very good - there are many small under glaze firing cracks; there is glaze loss to both eyes and there is 'kiln grit' to the base. No chips or external cracks and no repairs or restoration...

£3,500.00 A fine and very rare bat-shaped porcelain censer with what are apparently bat head feet. We believe that there would originally have been a wood cover secured into the two outer holes and that the incense smoke would have escaped through the three central holes.
This item was made in China for the domestic market as a temple or home alter piece in the early 18th Century, probably during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722)...
