The dress is decorated with flowers, butterflies and clouds in green, yellow and manganese enamels on a cream background. Hairs and details in black enamel. Good condition except a very little chip.

Fine Pair of Tall Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Jars
This fine pair of tall and impressive porcelain jars was made in the 13th - 14th century, toward the end of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Interestingly they have been made in several sections that have been luted together. They are coated in a finely-crackled greenish-blue qingbai glaze of very good colour. sold In Japan Muromachi period 15th century, tea master Juko Murata had been putting forward "wabi-cha" that has become the mainstream of tea ceremony afterwards. And then he had the idea that wabi-cha should have noble mood hidden inside though it seemed coarse at glimpse. He had changed the tea ceremony in Chinese style to Japanese-like style.
He picked up a coarse celadon tea cup made in Song dynasty.

The saucer is painted with pink, blue and yelow clouds. The cups are signed Chein Lung on the base, date from republic period. They measure 4.5" wide 3.5" tall with saucer and lid.

Condition: One bowl is in perfect condition; the other has a chip on foot rim, and four very fade hairlines on the rim, the longest one is about one inch, there might be small chips accompanying the hairline and now be professionally restored. An orange-red five-clawed sinewy dragon among flames is in the interior well. A six-character kaishu iron-red Guangxu mark is on the base. Probably of the period and circa 1900. Custom stands and a padded silk presentation box are included. 7 3/4” diameter, 3 1/4” high...
