Chinese Blue and White Porcelain rectangle shape scholar's Covered Box, Ca. 1880-1920, 1 3/8" high, 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" wide, underglaze Bird's face with scrolling vines in the center within geometric design border. Lot of Chinese Character writings are inside the box, on the bottom and also under the top, bottom is glazed. The condition is good.

Qing light colored celadon, crackle glaze plate circa 18th century. This has a filled chip with gold leaf. Nice cracquelure. The original owner had incised their name on the glaze, which I have highlighted with a bit of baby powder. D: 22.7cm/8.9in and H: 4.3cm/1.7in.

This was fired in Guangdong Province and locally this type is referred to as a “gunpowder” jar although, I don’t know if this was it what it was really used for. Included is a decent wood lid. This attractive blue & white porcelain bowl was made c. 1470 - 1490. It is quite heavily-potted and coated in a crackled glaze. It is decorated in underglaze blue with a floral pattern on the outer wall and a character inside, with various blue bands. The recessed foot is unglazed. Diameter 10 cm. No repair or restoration...
