An Extraordinary blue and red Meiping decorated with flanked of the red lotus flowers and Lotus panels, the center with octagonal shaped and beautiful Qirin running among flower scrolls. the original lid with a chrysanthemum on the top. Mark to the neck with "Da Ming Hong Wu Nien Zhe" and possibly of the period or later is possible as well. Condition is perfect. Ming Dynasty 14th Century...

Width approximately 13.8 cm (tipspout to handle). There is a hairline around the spout, possibly reconnected, all original parts. In good condition.

Ming Dynasty six characters Da Ming Xuan De Nien Zhe and of the period. Possibly came from the last journey or the seven the last one of Admiral Chengho to South East Asia and survived till now. Found recovered at Indonesia in perfect condition. Diameter: 21,8 cm

Very rare bowl and please see the similar one in the Cleveland Museum of Art visible on enlargement 9, the other at National Palace Museum Taipei Taiwan visible on enlargement 10.
