Chinese Qing dynasty baluster vase with long neck and wide dish-form mouth decorated on the front in underglaze blue and white with two birds perched on a tree branch among flowers and rockery all set against a golden-tan colored geyao style crackle glaze background that extends into the interior mouth. Antique Chinese Qingbai porcelain ewer. Delicately potted with very thinly walled construction. Dramatically lobed ovoid body. Trumpet neck with foliate rim. Curving strap handle incised lengthwise and with 5 raised round dots. Long curving and subtly tapered spout. The body and lower neck are incised with horizontal striping. While the foot remains unglazed, the rest of the ewer is covered with a transparent white, blue-green glaze exemplary of the Qingbai name...

A fine,very well potted, 17/18th Century baluster shaped vase (without cover) well painted in shades of underglaze blue, depicting prunus blossom against a "cracked ice" ground.

This item was made during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662 - 1722).

Condition - excellent. There is a possibility that the rim may have been reduced and there is an extemely faint (glaze only) crack to the base...

The colors are vibrant and it is in very good condition, save for a chip on one corner that appears to have been reglued. Study the third photo very carefully. Tall (17 1/4"H) Chinese transitional period wucai gu beaker vase decorated around the circumference in underglaze blue and overglaze polychrome pigments and black outlined highlights with figures, phoenix birds and a crane in a garden setting. Three continuous vignettes are interspersed with flowers, rockery and clouds. The top rim features a "cracked ice" motif in underglaze blue within a decorative band. Excellent condition...

A Chinese porcelain water pipe made for the Imperial Palace in Hue. Decoration of dragons in cobalt blue underglaze. Below 4 characters in blue and, which is unusual, 4 other characters incised under glassure, perhaps the mark of the potter or the commander. The silver setting of very good quality is a fine example of fine goldsmith's work, it is perhaps -be Chinese but more probably Annamese...
