Antique Chinese pair of porcelain bowls, glazed white and with detailed overpainting in orange and gold of dragons and flaming pearl. Each bowl has two five-clawed dragons on either side of the pearl. Eyes are green and black and every scale is finely outlined in gold. Daoguang (1821-1850) mark on the bottom.

Decorated with painted designs of dragons, lingzhi and scrolling vines in red-orange overglaze standing out against a dramatic black ground. Chinese antique monochrome porcelain incensor with round squat body on three legs. The red oxblood glaze transitions to white around the short neck and flares slightly. Thick drips on the underside of the body. The copper content of the glaze is evident in green colored drippings on the inside of the lip.

Amazing antique Chinese porcelain dish. Beautifully formed, glazed with a rich monochrome turquoise color. Standing on four small unglazed feet. Intricately decorated with tiny drum-like rivets around the outer edge and on the inside with raised stylized 5-bat motif around a central prosperity symbol. The underside has an incised 6 character Qianlong zhuanzhu mark (1735-1796) or later.

Antique Chinese monochrome porcelain vase with dripping Flambé (Jingdezhen Jun) glaze. Because the glaze effect is made by the combining of various colors and thus the fusing of different minerals, it is also called Transmutation glaze. Developed through the Yongzheng emperor's interest in antiquities, this type of glazed vessel was often commissioned by the court of Beijing. Artists were encouraged to experiment and develop interesting new glaze effects...

Antique Chinese large porcelain low bowl possibly for bulbs. Shallow, oval form with purplish-blue monochrome glaze and four low feet. Zhuanshu Yongzheng mark (1722-1735) under glaze on the bottom. With wooden stand.

Antique Chinese porcelain water coupe in the form of a pine branch. Whimsically sculpted with a gibbon hanging from it's handle. Glazed a lovely mauve color on the outside and a white glaze inside. Underside has Wang Bing Rong mark in a raised cartouche. Wang Bing Rong (1840-1900) specialized in carved decoration on porcelain and was active during the Tongzhi to Gunagxu Period.
