$650.00 An unusual late 19th C Chinese teapot of quatrefoil form applied with a bamboo form spout set opposite a bamboo handle. Decorated around the sides in shades of blue and white enamel with flower heads on mint green scrolling foliage, the flattened cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a leaf form knop. A wonderful item for the collector of Chinese porcelains. Measures: 8" long, 4.25" wide, and 2.5" high.

SOLD Antique porcelain bowl in traditional blue and white style, in which ground cobalt is used for the blue underglaze. Around the sides and inside the bowl are flying dragons with sharp claws and cloud designs. Mark on bottom reading "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi", or "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made".Dates from the early 20th century.

$2,500.00 Antique Chinese porcelain plate circa 1900's (Qing Dynasty). The plate is beautifully painted with a sage holding a sprig of bamboo riding a blue celadon. The Sage and fish are accompanied by a gold winged dog. There are three seals. The plate is bordered with three registers. It measures 11.75" wide by 9" tall. The base has four bats, one on each side. The edge of the plate has old fitters from age.

SOLD Chinese pair of monochrome porcelain vases with a speckled raspberry glaze. They are of an elegant, elongated tapering form, the bases of each vase marked with Hongxian red seal. In the year 1916, Yuan Shikai attempted to reinstate monarchy by naming himself the Emperor of China after the Qing Dynasty was overthrown in 1911. Due to extreme backlash, his reign lasted for less than 100 days, ending on March 1916.
