A finely moulded biscuit glazed Wang Binrong style porcelain vase decorated with the eight buddhist emblems and two Qianlong style dragons. The base has a moulded CHINA mark indicating that this item was made post 1891 for export during either the late Guangxu or early Republic period (circa 1895-1920). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration...

The cup has a soft velvet surface with shadows into a clear white tone. Very nice item. Very rare large “Swatow” bowl from the Zhangzhou kiln, Fujian Province, China. This is a Binh Tuan shipwreck recovery piece, discovered off the coast of Vietnam in 2001...

Quirky shallow bowls enclosed in pewter. The original blank dishes were imported from Japan and then decorated in Hong Kong. By the 1980s this trade died out due to rising property costs as well as the transitioning of the Hong Kong manufacturing sector to China. This pair is in excellent condition and perfectly matched with floral panels and medallions. These are also the only examples I have seen jacketed in pewter. D: 17cm/6.9in and H: 4cm/1.6in. Dated to 1970’s.

A finely detailed Chinese porcelain rooster in a rich blue turquoise glaze with his comb and wattle, as well as the rock form base, glazed in a deep aubergine. In excellent condition, it measures 10.25" high, 7" long.

Please note: Any brown or white spots in photos are reflections, especially in the 2nd photograph where it looks brown at the base of the rooster's comb. It is not brown, it is purple. The reflection is coming from a brown bench behind the photographer.

Very Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Early Blue & White Covered Jar (Ex. Grahame Clarke Collection)

This very rare and attractive small covered jar was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) by one of the kilns at Yuxi county in Yunnan province, one of the first places in the world where blue & white ware was produced. Similar wares were first unearthed in 1973 in Lufeng County, Yunnan Province although, surprisingly, such wares are still relatively unknown to western collectors...

Very Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Textured & Interior Glazed Porcelain Wine Cup

This extremely rare (unique?) porcelain wine cup was made during the 12th - 14th Century (Song - Yuan Dynasty). The inner surface is coated in a finely-crackled pale olive-green celadon or qingbai type of glaze. But its most interesting feature is the unglazed textured outer wall, decorated with cord or fabric impressions. There is a firing bubble to the inner surface.
