Large Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain wash basin decorated in underglaze blue with leafy vines and sweet pea flowers set against a white ground with a pale blue tint. The exterior holds three flying bats. There are small amounts of kiln grit adhering to the unglazed foot rim. The base is glazed. 13 3/8” diameter x about 4 1/2” high. 19th century. The underside is painted with elongated prunus branches under the rim and with stylized peach branches to the inside. The base is unglazed. This item was made in China, probably for export, in the second half of the 16th Century, circa 1550-1600...

DESCRIPTION: A large antique porcelain plate, well decorated with a mythical Kylin gazing upward at a large bird perched in a pine tree. The decoration is in underglazed blue with a clear glaze containing a faint blue tint. The base is unglazed and unmarked showing the finely grained paste. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs; wood stand not included. DIMENSIONS: 11 1/4” diameter (28.5 cm) x 2 1/8" high (5.4 cm).

A large underglaze blue decorated vase, very finely painted in 18th Century style with bands of plantain leaves, key fret and ruyi above the Bajixiang (eight Buddhist emblems) amongst cloud scrolls. On the base is the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but this item was made later, in the 20th Century, probably during the Republic period (1911-1949)...

A porcelain vase hand painted in traditional Chinese style with a continuous mountain and river landscape and accompanying poem. This item was probably made, circa 1950-1975, during the third quarter of the 20th Century. Condition: the base has been drilled for a lamp conversion; no further damages and no restoration. 33cm (13inches) high

porcelain kuan-yin enameled in iron red and copper green. Green enamel has an unusual iridescent metallic appearance that seems to be peculiar to an era or a production site. The statuette is made in a mold in 2 parts, the joint is visible below. The unglazed parts, at least the base, were covered with lacquer and gold which have disappeared leaving only traces (look photo). I attach the picture of a Guan-Yin with similar green. Usual wear. Good condition. Hight about 7 cm H: 86mm
