A large Chinese celadon glazed dish from Longquan kiln, dated to Ming Dynasty. The dish has some kiln problems including shape distortion, glaze contraction spots, and a black spot. There are age crackles on the glaze. No other flaws beside the above. Diameter: 14-5/8"

A large Ming Dynasty dish decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with floral scrolls and a Buddhistic Lion to the center. Pieces of this kind were found at the LENA SHOAL JUNK. A Ming Dynasty bowl with well balance potted, decorated to interior with flower blossom to the center within double circle and surrounded by diaper pattern to rim. Exterior with overgrazed red and green enamels, but already lost considered these kind of enamel is easy to loss enamel and sometime they are made to re-paint again. Ming Dynasty 16th-17th century. Condition is very good, with no any chip, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Diameter: 12,5 cm and Height: 6 cm.

A Chinese Shiwan stoneware fanghu vase with a jun glaze, late Ming/early Qing dynasty. The hollow tube handles associate this type of vase with the arrow game pastime but this example, given the small diameters involved would be unsuitable. The glaze is a transmutation glaze and its colour is decided by the kiln conditions at the peak temperature.

Shiwan (Shekwan) ceramics are from southern China, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

A very nice, decorative and rare Fahua Ware hoop pended pot with three coloured Scroll Pattern. Ming Dynasty, 15th century. H: 23,2 cm. Diameter: 21,8 cm. Condition: Very nice original condition. Extraordinary well preserved, glossy glaze. On two places there is a glaze split off ( please look the images ) which most probably did happen during the burning of the jar or shortly later - in any case hundreds of years ago...

A fine,very well potted, 17/18th Century baluster shaped vase (without cover) well painted in shades of underglaze blue, depicting prunus blossom against a "cracked ice" ground.

This item was made during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662 - 1722).

Condition - excellent. There is a possibility that the rim may have been reduced and there is an extemely faint (glaze only) crack to the base...
