Zentner Collection
SOLD An antique pair of Chinese vases with lingzhi mushroom outcrops on a craggy rock platform. The lingzhi mushroom is a symbol of longevity and health. The platform could display an object. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen sub-district within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each vase is pigmented with custard yellow and aubergine.
Date: Late 18th to Early 19th Century Dimensions: 11" tall X 9" X 6" deep A pair small Chinese porcelain jars with lids, each decorated with two foo dogs among peony flowers and scrolls in the "wucai" palette with underglaze blue. Bases without glaze. Rare to find a pair with matching lids and with so fresh colors. Including two later reticulated wooden stands. Dimension with lid: 14.3 cm high, on stand: 17.3 cm high. Condition: one cover with glued area and rim chips. One jarlet with minor kiln dust and the other jar with negligible rim fritting...

Inquire for Price Exquisite and fine famille rose Mille Fleurs cup which known as thousand flowers with enamelled around the exterior with a dense composite floral pattern of blossoming peony, hibiscus, peony, chrysanthemum and narcissus below a gold rim, thinly and well balance potted. Qianlong seal mark to the base and possibly of the period. Condition is excellent, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Mouth Diameter: 9,5 cm and Height: 5,1 cm.
