A very rare extremely large storage jar from the Chinese Song period, 960 -1126 AD.These jars were used for storage for Chinese trading vessels. They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties. This one is very rare as it dates back to the Song Dynasty. This vase was found in Borneo, Malaysia. It is unusual to find this size jar intact from that period. Size: H. 76 cm. W. 57 cm...

Large Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) Yue ware hu form stoneware vase with two moulded and incised loop handles on the shoulder. Measures about 11 1/2" high x 8" diameter. Above the waist, the vase is decorated with two sets of incised lines running around the circumference. A mottled olive green glaze, consisting of green, brown and cream pigments, accents the upper section of the vase and the interior of the mouth. Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery tomb figure depicting a female attendant dressed in a red hooded gown. 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with cold painted facial features and much original pigment remaining. Typical losses. The figure can stand upright on the flat base without a support. A pair of Chinese porcelain bowls decorated with iron-red enamel depicting two dragons chasing a fire ball. Four characters studio mark "Fu You Tang Zhi" inside the foot rims. 19th century. Condition: One bowl is in perfect condition; the other has a chip on foot rim, and four very fade hairlines on the rim, the longest one is about one inch, there might be small chips accompanying the hairline and now be professionally restored. These flaws can only be seen under strong light...

A trumpet-mouth porcelain vase (觀音瓶）decorated with Mirror-black glaze (烏金釉). Six under-glaze-cobalt characters "Daqing Kangxi Nian Zhi" mark inside the foot rim, 18/19th century. Condition: foot rim ground; three chips on the foot rim; scratches on glaze. Height: 13-5/8".

A small porcelain water coupe with Langyao red glaze (郎红釉）finish on the body, light green glaze (苹果绿釉） on inside the body and inside the foot rim. 18th century. The water coupe is in excellent condition - just some scratches on the glaze. Diameter: 2-5/8".

A large rare Ming jar. The brown glaze is decorated with strings of dots going down the sides. Size: H. 58cm. W. 42cm. (H.22.8 inches. W.16.5 inches) Condition: No repairs,cracks or broken parts.

A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar decorated with dramatic and humoristic animals and other motifs, and two unreadable characters on the bottom. The jar was made in early 17th century, probably for exporting. Condition: Perfect condition with three very short kiln cracks as shown on photos. Diameter: 4-7/8", height:3-3/4".

A pair of extremely rare small porcelain dishes decorated with "qianjiang cai （淺絳彩）”， depicting a scene of rice transplanting on one dish, and a scene of rice harvest on another. Qianjiang Cai was a kind of enamel similar to Famille Rose, it was favored by Chinese scholars in late Qing Dynasty. Some researches said it was created in Xianfeng period, others argued that the using of this enamel should be as early as Daoguang period...

A Chinese celadon-glazed porcelain vase with shape of an ancient cong, decorated with eight trigrams (bagua) on all four sides of the vase. A six-characters "Daqing Tongzhi Nianzhi" mark is inside the foot rim, and of the period. There are two long kiln cracks between the foot rim and the body of the vase (see photos #5 and #6), and three very short kiln cracks on the body. There is no damage to the vase other than these kiln faults. Additional photos will be provided upon request...

A small porcelain water coupe with oxblood glaze (祭红釉）finish. Mid - Qing Dynasty, 18th century. The water coupe is in perfect condition. Diameter: 2-1/4".

Chinese porcelain cup decorated with famille rose enamel depicting a scene of scholars and children playing. "Qianlong Nianzhi" four character mark inside the foot rim, but made in 19th century. Excellent condition, the only flow is some gilt losing. Height: 2-1/4"; diameter: 3".

A Chinese porcelain bowl with fluted wall/ blue and white motifs decorations, an unreadable mark inside the foot rim. Ming Dynasty Jiajing to Longqing period, circa mid-16th century. Condition: minor kiln faults and a few tiny glaze flakes on the rim, photo #6 shows two example of them. The bowl is not in a perfect round shape. Please refer to photos for condition details.
