Fine & Rare Large Chinese Han Dynasty Glazed Granary Jar with Cover
This rare pottery model of a granary was made some 2,000 years ago during the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220). It is coated in a very attractive amber glaze that varies slightly in colour around the vessel. The unusual shoulder and top presumably represent a two-tier tiled roof. It has its original cover with moulded floral pattern and two purpose-made holes... Rare Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Decorated Glazed Jar
This very rare and unusual pottery jar was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220). It is made from a red pottery and very attractively decorated in both green and amber glazes. The green glaze has a matt finish whereas the amber glaze is mostly glossy, although its colour and appearance does vary in places according to its thickness and, probably, uneven conditions in the kiln during firing... Tall Chinese Han Dynasty Amber Glazed Pottery Hu Jar
This large pottery jar (or "hu") of fine form was made during the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220). It has been coated with a greenish-amber glaze that covers the whole of the outer surface and the inside of the mouth. The slightly concave flat base remains unglazed. There are many decorative ridges and bands that surround the jar and on opposing sides at the waist are two moulded taotie ring handles... Rare Chinese Tang Dynasty Stoneware Jar with Cover
This "heavily-potted" stoneware jar, complete with its original cover, was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). Like most Tang jars, its form is particularly pleasing. The finely-crackled transparent pale olive-green glaze is quite "streaky" and coats around the upper three-quarters of the outer surface, as well as the cover. The lower body remains unglazed showing the white stoneware body... Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Amber Glazed Pottery Stove
This pottery model of a stove was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220). It is made from a reddish pottery and coated in a thick and attractive amber glaze. It has been made from moulded sections that have been luted together. There are three integral cooking pots with moulded decoration including fish, geometric patterns and a kneeling female figure with a pot...

Tang/Five Dynasties, stoneware jar with light olive green glaze and reddish clay body. The foot is rimless and concave. There is a “Jun” type glaze run on the body noted in enlargements- probably unintentional but interesting nonetheless. I have done simple repair on the mouth by filling a shallow chip and applying a layer of gold leaf. H: 12cm/4.8in and D: 9cm/3.5in.
Large Chinese Tang Dynasty Glazed Stoneware Jar
This attractively-shaped stoneware jar was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a very pale, almost white, stoneware and quite "heavily-potted". $1,400.00 Small rooster in green and orange yellow glazed clay. Tang period. I will take more pictures on request. Good condition. A glued label with the number 7 of an old collection. The age is certain because I bought it 50 years ago and in 1970 there were no copies of Tang ceramics of such small size, the only copies that were made at that time were of important subjects, large horses, camels and riders....
I have found and attached the reference photos.
Height: 99mm
Good condition.
Rare Chinese Eastern Jin / Southern Dynasties Celadon Glazed Chicken Head Ewer
This stoneware ewer was made during the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 317 - 420) or possibly the Southern Dynasties period (AD 420 - 589). Its form, body and glaze characteristics suggest it was made at the workshops in Jiangxi province. It is "heavily-potted" with two sturdy loop handles on opposing sides of the shoulder, pouring spout in the form of a chicken's head, and a decorative chicken's tail...
