Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille rose porcelain seated Budai holding a string of pearls in his right hand and his bag in his left hand. Nicely carved custom wood stand in the form of a settee. 5” high (6” high including the stand). Circa 1900. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a minor imperfection to the stand. From an old Scottsdale, Arizona collection.

On the flat bottom inside engraved with one five clawed dragon and on the wall outside engraved with a pair of five clawed imperial dragons over waves chasing a fire ball (tams). Signed Guanxu, the eleventh emperor of the Qing dynasty. Great antique condition with strong and vivid colors. No cracks or repairs... Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi marked monochrome beehive form waterpot (taibo zun) subtly incised with three kui dragon roundels on the domed body. The sky blue glaze thins to white at the rim. The slightly recessed flat base and interior are white. The base holds an apocryphal underglaze blue six-character Kangxi reign mark written in three columns. 5 ¼” diameter by 3 ¼” high.
