Antique Chinese porcelain bowl, of an oval form with ribbed sides and a famille rose color palette. The yellow sides are incised with various Chinese inscriptions in blue glaze while several key characters are glazed in red. The foot is tall and deeply recessed with a red seal of Daoguang (1821-1850). The bowl is placed within a dramatic metal display of a fleur de lys design, raising it on narcissus style legs.

Scenes of playing children in a famille rose glaze color palette and sculpted beast head "handles" at the vase's sides. Chinese white glazed Blanc de Chin Double Gourd Vase with incised 4 Ruyi with 3 flower petals inside each Ruyi design, 19th century, 5 1/2" high, 2 1/8" diameter-bottom rim, 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4" wide-widest middle section of the vase, unglazed bottom and sand got stuck around bottom rim during firing and also large sand firing mark on the side of the vase about 1/2" long, all the dots and dark area is kiln imperfect markings.
