A blue and white Stem-cup with octagonal shaped, painted with vividly and neatly an official and the attendant in the garden view with three friends of winter these are plum, bamboo and pine among two Lizards. Very interesting and rare found pattern, covered overall with nice dark cobalt blue. Condition is very good, no any chips, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Found at Kalimantan/Borneo Island. Height: 10,7 cm and Mouth Diameter: 9 cm. Late Yuan Dynasty 14th century.

A rare blue and white flattened ewer, well balance potted, decorated each side with three claws Dragon, aside with Chrysanthemum scrolls. Very good condition, excepted two tiny flaked chips to the mouth rim, otherwise no any crack, no any other chip and free from any restoration. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th century Jindezhen ware. Found at Borneo Island. Height: 11 cm and wide: 13 cm.

An extremely finely and delicately painted eggshell porcelain bowl by Wang Yijun. The poem on the reverse side reads "Wen ji qi wu xiang feng nian, fu gui rong hua ren ping an. Wang Yijun zuo" which can translate as "Practice the sword while hearing roosters (meaning work hard) and enjoy the affluence of the year; wish people wealth, prosperity and safety. Made by Wang Yijun"The seal mark to the base reads "Jingdezhen Zuo" - Made in Jingdezhen. Wang Yijun (1904 - 1989)was born in Anhui, China...

A rare thinly potted and extremely well painted deep dish with exceptionally fine porcelain body. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Jiajing emperor (1522-1566) enclosed within a double circle but this item was probably made later, in the 16th/17th Century, during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). Condition: there is production glaze loss (fritting) to the rim but no cracks or damages and no restoration...

An Extraordinary blue and red Meiping decorated with flanked of the red lotus flowers and Lotus panels, the center with octagonal shaped and beautiful Qirin running among flower scrolls. the original lid with a chrysanthemum on the top. A timely and quirky soy brown glazed Korean War era chopstick holder with political slogans. The left hand column translates as “support your family and the Chinese military”, the right hand “oppose America, support Korea” and the top characters “increase productivity”. Possibly used in a factory canteen this is the only ceramic I have ever seen from this brief period...

DESCRIPTION: A fierce pair of Chinese pottery foo dogs, early Qing, 18th/19th C., covered with a heavy green glaze and seated on pedestals. Each bares its teeth ferociously while holding a ball between their front paws as well as in their mouths. Good detail with finely ribbed backs and curled manes. Very good condition. DIMENSIONS: Each approximately 9 ½” high (24 cm) x 5” wide (12.7 cm).

Early Northern Sung or five dybasties ding type glaze bowl with moulded flora pattern in perfect condition

Good Cizhou type high fired, well balanced, ovoid soy glazed with russet highlights jar from a northern kiln, circa- Five Dynasties to Northern Song. There is a possible chip on the outer mouthrim (see enlargement)- difficult to tell if this happened after firing or before. There are remnants of kiln supports on the concave foot. H: 9.6cm/3.8in and D: 10.3cm/4in.
