$2,950.00 An ancient Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907) tea bowl, dating to around 850-900 AD and excavated in the Luoyang area. This charming bowl is well balanced and has traces of its excavation inside (please see last photo). The piece is coloured with an attractive sancai glaze of green and orange which stands out vibrantly against the ivory cream slip... Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) Lushan kiln tripod stoneware coupe with two thin upright handles covered entirely in a dark brown speckled glaze apart from the lower part of the unglazed feet. A large phosphatic splash is on both the front and back. Small bosses are spread around the circumference of the widest part of the body to imitate bronze examples. 6 1/4” diameter by 4 1/4" high...
Chinese Tang Dynasty Glazed Stoneware Tray & Wine Cup Set
This high-fired sturdy dish with eight accompanying cups was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). The finely-crackled and thin pale straw-coloured glaze was used sparingly, covering only the inner and outer edges of the dish, as well as the inner and upper outer surfaces of the cups. The glaze is so thin that in places on both the dish and the cups it has degraded and flaked from the surface...

Rarely encountered Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery figure of a court gentleman (often referred to as a “fat man”) wearing a scarf hat and dressed in a long, belted gown with one arm raised, his hand covered by his voluminous sleeve, and the other hand holding the belt. An acrylic stand is included. 14 1/4” high (excluding stand). Circa 7th to 8th century. Very good overall condition with nice detailing. From an Arizona collection. Purchased in Hong Kong in 1996.
Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery figure of a standing lady (often referred to as a “fat lady”), dressed in a long-sleeved, high-waisted, full-length robe. One boat-shaped shoe protrudes from the bottom of the robe. The sleeve of her gown covers her right hand while the left hand is exposed. Her hair is gathered in a double-topknot at the top of her head. Cold painted red pigment remains over the thin layer of white slip covering the red pottery...
