A small Chinese porcelain vase delicately painted in fencai / famille rose enamels with a scene depicting two ladies on a river bank washing silk. The base carries an iron red four character Qianlong (1736 - 1795) reign mark but this vase was made later, in the early 20th Century, during the Republic period. Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration. 12.5cm (5 inches) high.

Chinese porcelain underglaze Iron Red and Blue Horse decorated Vase, before 1920's, marked six Chinese character "Kangxi" on the bottom, 4 1/4" high, 3 1/4" widest part of the vase, 1" diameter-top rim, 1 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, three(3) iron red and blue horses are looking towards same direction beside the rock and willow trees. The condition is good, no damages.

Simple elegance is how we describe this late 19th C. turquoise Noya ware bowl. Good and strong vibrant colors of flowers with auspicious symbols, this bowl has very little wear and is in excellent shape without any chips, cracks, hairlines, and free from any restoration. It measures 10.5 inches long, 7.5 wide and 2" high.

Container in 2 parts. Rare form. Perhaps an incense burner or a container to keep a liquid warm? A small undecorated white porcelain bucket fits into a porcelain container decorated with enamel birds. Below mark of Tong-Zhi, one of the last Chinese Emperor. The porcelains of this reign are usually of very low quality, our porcelain is an exception, indeed the birds are well drawn, precision and elegance. Technically, the cooking is perfect, no flaws, no splits or lacks, well-cooked enamels...

In the cartouches are represented, in alternation, palace scenes, flowers, butterflies and birds, representative of the so-called "Canton" style. This style appeared in China around the middle of the 19th century and is still produced today, however production has continued to deteriorate over the decades...

Young Chinese lady in enameled porcelain in the famille rose style. She is represented standing, holding a fan, and rests on a square base. Her dress is richly decorated with flowers and butterflies. His face is calm and smiling. She is very beautiful. This type of statuette decorated with this specific palette of colors was executed in large numbers in China at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th under the reign of the Jiaqing Emperor of China...

Chinese porcelain figure of Zhongli Quan, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. His attribute is a fan which is said to bring the dead back to life and turn stone into gold or silver. He wears an open robe with gilt accenting, and comes with a fitted hand carved hardwood stand. Republic Period (circa 1930's). Size: 11" H, 5" W

Chinese porcelain figure of Li Tieguai, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. He is temperamental but compassionate towards the sick and needy, who he heals using special medicine from the gourd he carries around his waist. He is shown here walking with a crutch, with a blue band around his head and gilt accented robes. Wonderful original Condition. Republic Period (circa 1930's). Size: 11" H, 5" W
