A b/w jarlet with well balance potted, decorated with simple but elegant of lotus petals on the shoulder in perfect condition. Ming dynasty late 15th century Chenghua-Hongzhi private kiln ware. High: 5.9cm.

Description:

A Longquan bowl was in nice conical shape and was fired into a crackled glaze imitating the rare Guan wares.
It was an excavation piece for some time from the dry-feel condition to the glaze.
A later touch-up of gilt paint was done to the only defect found on the rim.
From the tint of the body clay, the way the foot ring was shaped and the accumulation of glaze around the mouth rim, all the characteristics stated out that it was a piece from Southern Song Dynasty...

A very well and thinly potted porcelain bowl with a polychrome decoration ( Famille-rose ) of the "Eighteen Luohans" . To the base a red six-character Mark. Qing Dynasty, Guangxu period ( 1875 - 1908 ) Diameter : 15,8 cm. Condition : There is a very flat chip to the inside of the footrim. Further in an absolutely perfect condition.

A rare green glaze Jun ware water dropper found excavated at Borneo Indonesia. In fact, Jun ware is not for export to South East Asian, possibly brought by the merchant as example or personal use. Condition is good except slight tilt because glaze is thicker at the base and tiny chip to the spout.

Diameter approximately 17 cm. There is a hairline at the bowl. There are some hairline at the cover. There is a soft chip at the cover. More pictures are available.

A very good white glazed censer with well balance potted, standing on three short legs, covered overall with monochrome white glaze. Condition is perfect with no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Ming dynasty circa 1368-1644 found at Kalimantan Island. Height: 12 cm and Mouth Diameter: 14 cm.

A good example of Tea-Dust glazed washer, with rounded square shaped, decorated inside with molded twin fish to interior, Qing dynasty 18th-19th century. Acquired at Taipei in year of 1995. Condition is good, with only restored a tiny chip to inner rim, otherwise is perfect condition. Size :

A good Longquan celadon Lotus bowl, decorated with lotus petals to exterior and covered overall with bluish green glaze. Southern Song dynasty, found at South Sulawesi. Condition with restored to a nail chip missing, otherwise is good condition with no any crack. Diameter:14.2cm and Height: 6.5cm.

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a good Ming Dynasty kraakware dish, late Wanli Period circa 1600-1620, of well-known and documented form, executed in Border VIII style with a central bird some scholars opine is either a magpie or a duck, sitting upon a lotus pond outcropping and encircled by a ten-point buddhist star, further encircled by ten ogival panels of buddhist symbols in the outer border, all executed in a slightly greyish blue on a barbed-form dish with slightly upturned lip...

A nice Ming dynasty Longquan wares dish, decorated with a molded flower in the center and fluted sides cavetto, covered overall with a fine olive green glaze. Condition is perfect, except tiny flake glaze to rim and free from any restoration. Diameter: 25cm.

From our Chinese Polychrome Collection, a good Kangxi Period (1662-1722) flower basket plate executed in soft famille verte enamels. The flower basket motif is generally associated with symbolizing longevity and abundance, but sometimes its association with one of the most enigmatic and eccentric of the Eight Immortals, Lan Caihe, is overlooked. Lan Caihe was actually the patron saint of florists whose distinguishing attribute is the flower basket...

A good example of Southern Song Dynasty Yaozhou bowl decorated with molded incised chrysanthemum to interior. Repair and slight warped without any missing pieces. Very nice as study example for researches. Diameter: 19,5 cm.

A nice example of blue and white Stem-bowl, decorated with Bajixian, condition is broken like indicated on the pictures and minor missing to the foot rim. Possibly Ming Dynasty 15th century. Height: 11,3 cm and Diameter: 16,5 cm.

From our Shipwreck Porcelain Collection, a fine and large blue and white Ca Mau Shipwreck dish ex-Sotheby's, Yongzheng Period 1723-1735, datable more specifically to circa 1725. The scene depicts Europeans (most likely Dutch traders) on what was once mistakenly thought to be Deshima Island in Nagasaki Harbor Japan, but which recent scholarship now concludes is either a scene of Holland in the Netherlands, or Gothenborg in Sweden...

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a good ginger jar with "double shu" design bestowing "double happiness," late 19th century, either Tongzhi (1862-1874) or Guangxu Period (1875-1908).

Jars such as this current example were often given as gifts containing foodstuffs with the lids glued shut. As a result, many lids were broken upon opening and subsequently lost to history, which is why so many are seen without their original lids...
