A heavy 18th Century double walled cup - the outer wall carved with reticulated decoration and painted with small famille rose flowers. This item was made in China during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Circa 1750. A very beautiful and petite vegetable tureen. This is just gorgeous, with bright colors and well painted florals, all of which is beautifully intact. The only damage is the one handle has been re-stuck. The other details to mention is very minor frits along the outer edge of the lid, which is a common production fault with Chinese porcelain in the first couple decades of the 18th century, other than that this tureen is in excellent shape...

Circa 1750 Chinese export Nanking Cargo blue and white porcelain tea bowl and saucer. The cup and saucer were recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East India Company ship "De Geldermalsen", which sank in 1751 near Java. The recovered pieces from the wreck are now referred to as "The Nanking Cargo". Both cup and saucer still retain the original Christie's label from the auction held in Amsterdam in 1986. saucer measures 4.75ʺdiameter. Cup diameter is 3".Cup with saucer measures 2.25ʺ high
