Circa 1750. A very beautiful and petite vegetable tureen. This is just gorgeous, with bright colors and well painted florals, all of which is beautifully intact. The only damage is the one handle has been re-stuck. The other details to mention is very minor frits along the outer edge of the lid, which is a common production fault with Chinese porcelain in the first couple decades of the 18th century, other than that this tureen is in excellent shape...

The cup and saucer were recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East India Company ship "De Geldermalsen", which sank in 1751 near Java. Each is 0.75 inch (2.1 cm) tall by 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) wide. Total weight is 1.8 Lb.

They have rubbing of gold and paint, skip glazes, dark spots and surface wears and scratches. Some dishes have small and flea bite chips (as seen in the photos).
