Circa 1860, cylindrical Chinese Yixing red stoneware teapot with dished flat cover and loose iron wire swing handles. Brightly decorated in colored enamels with a phoenix bird amongst lotus and foliage. The teapot has various stamped and incised marks, one on the lid, one on base bottom, and 2 incised marks on the pot exterior just under the handle on the side opposite the spout. Chinese export QING blue and white porcelain plate with 4 character QIANLONG mark, but more likely to be a 19th Century Guangxu (1875-1908). This fine plate is very diverse in it's motif as it depicts a charming mansion/pavillion with extensive architectural details and inhabitants. The land and seascape is detailed with a man holding an open umbrella crossing a bridge, a fishing boat, trees, flying birds and a pagoda in the horizon...

With gold painted lines simulating veins. The lines outside in low relief. The celadon glaze has a nice colour. There are 5 spur marks to the base. In the collection of the British Museum there is a cup of similar form ( it´s base as well with 5 spur marks ) that is dated to the Kangxi period, Jingdezhen ware. ( Museum Number : PDF, A. 516 ) Diameter : 7,8 cm. H : 4,5 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A very rare 18th Century QING DYNASTY BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN TEAPOT, WITH INTEGRATED GILDED ELEMENTS. It depicts a multi participant scene in a Chinese Court. The upper part and lid have decorations of flowers and fruit, gilding and a fine red glaze ring around the top cover. The teapot is connected to a grip made of metal alloy with a double hinge.
