The dating of this pair is consistent with the reults of the TL-test no. 12231113 by Laboratory Ralf Kotalla. Condition: expected age wear, no damage or repair.

This dish bears a six character Guangxu kaishu reign mark in iron-red, but in our opinion, the glaze and enamels suggest early 20th century republic period.

antique chinese ceramic stoneware 7373 400. Pair of lovely light turquoise pastel blue Qingbai glazed jars with lotus leaf shaped lids circa 1200 CE, which would put them on the cusp of Southern Song/Yuan Dynasties. The lids have been heavily restored- so please see enlargements but the jars are in good condition with no damage. H: 16.5cm/6.5in and D: 12cm/4.8in.

Although the style is Chinese from the 18th century, these are late copies Probably Chinese work from the 20th century, perhaps from the Republican period. Pair of small Ming dynasty Longquan celadon vases of compressed pear-form with flaring foliate form mouth decorated on opposing sides with low moulded relief leafy floral decoration. A pair of s-shaped handles are on each side of the neck. The celadon glaze with olive tint ends at the slightly flaring unglazed foot which has burnt orange from firing. The recessed base is glazed. Pair of large Chinese Qing dynasty lidded ginger jars decorated in underglaze blue with Buddhist lion dogs among flames and clouds set against a white porcelain ground. Glazed base and interior. Including the lid, each jar measures about 11 1/4" - 11 1/2" height and diameter with one jar slightly larger than the other. 19th century. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Typical production imperfections...
