Antique Chinese bronze fu dog incenser. He is sculpted with great detailing, his head points up with mouth open so that smoke billows from it. The head opens by a hinge to place incense within, and the interior shows old natural patina.

Antique Chinese bronze censor, with a hardwood lid with reticulated carvings of spirals in a plantlike form, topped with a nephrite jade finial of vibrant green, dark forest green, and white. The sides of the censor have spiral carvings with green, red, yellow, blue, white, and gold cloisonne serpents. Antique Chinese tripod censer that comes with a tall, circular stand. The lid of the censer has a playful fu dog as a finial. The front and back of the censer features a cylindrical panel with flora and fauna upon a textured background, and the handles on each side appear as large fu dog faces. Late 19th century circa 1890. Bronze Ming Dynasty censer in the shape of a Buddha's hand citron, a citrus planet originating from China, named so for its resemblance to hand gestures known as mudra, which Buddha is commonly depicted making. The censer's lid has the shape of leaves and the plant sits on its own vines.

Ancient Chinese horse snaffle bridle-bit, Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC).

Made of bronze bit with a mouthpiece composed of two canons connected in the center, each cast with a loop at both ends.

Description:

An archaic bronze seal was from Buddhist ritual.
It was cast on the printing side with four ancient Zhuan characters: Fo Fa Seng Bao (Buddha, Buddha dharma, Buddha Followers, Buddha's Holy Treasures).
There's a long slender knob on top of the seal. Three characters Wu Qiong Gang (Endless Strength) were inscribed on the upper side beside the knob.
The seal was kept in perfect condition and was in darken patina due to long time of age...

A very decorative, marked tripod form bronze censer with irregular gilt splashed throughout the body and along the handles, and a Mark in relief. Nineteenth century or earlier. Diameter : 11,3 cm. H : 5,4 cm.

A Chinese gilt lacquered bronze Guanyin from Ming Dynasty. Condition: lacquer and metal loses, there is only part of the reddish-gold lacquer still remains on the surface. Description:

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.

Date: Ming Dynasty,1368-1644.

The padlock is made of thick bronze, solid construction, the partitions are thick. There is a secret system to clear the keyhole which is hidden. You can see in the photos the explanation of the system. The bronze has an excellent centuries-old patina and the object is discreetly decorated with chiselling at the ends. The rivets are in the shape of flowers. This padlock is simple but of good quality. The key is lost, but this type of key is technically easy to make. Dimensions: 150x55mm...

Description: A fine bronze casting work of a sage riding on a standing deer. By dark patina, the figure and the deer were depicted in details by great craftsmanship. They were hollow cast and sealed and being reserved no casting holes. In a perfect condition, the bronze piece would be a joyful addition to your collection of Chinese bronzes.
