The base cast with a sixteen-character inscription incorporating an apocryphal Xuande date, reading Da Ming Xuande wunian Jiandu Gongbu guanchen Wu Bangzuo zao (Made by Wu Bangzuo, supervisor of the Ministry of Works, in the 5th year of Xuande of the Great Ming). 16,5 cm diameter.2048 gram weight. Censer has smooth dent (please see on the picture) No crack or repair. original patina.

Chinese Qing dynasty bronze compressed globular bombe form censer with two well executed Buddhist lion-mask handles. High circular foot with an apocryphal six-character Ming Xuande reign mark in relief within a recessed rectangular panel on the base. 5 1/2” diameter (including handles) x 2 5/8” high. Weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. 19th century. Very good overall condition. Appears to have been polished years ago.

1900's Chinese Paktong White Copper Enamel Hand Warmer with Flower & Bird Signed

It is 5.9 inches (15 cm) tall with handle up and 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) tall with handle down by 7.3 inches (18.7 cm) long and 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. It is 3 Lb.

It has loss of patina, oxidation and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

AN ELEGANT CHINESE PAKTONG TOBACCO PIPE, 19THC

The pipe looks a little like yellow brass in some pictures but this is a result of recent tarnishing, perhaps I should have polished it a little before taking the photographs. The base has an engraved inscription. 19th century I suspect. Especially nice is the cloud collar and the subtle shape of the base, almost peach-shape in section.

A square opium tray with vertical rim and recessed corners, made of baitong ("white copper", an alloy from different metals). The interior nicely incised with three ladies standing before a house with a moon window. Condition: some traces of usage, the corners with solder residue,some spots. The base: not completely even and with some spots. Dimension: c. 25.3 cm x 25.3 cm, c. 1.5 cm high, weight: 950g.
