The green overlaid glass has been carved away into auspicious motifs including a small chimera/beast, breathing flames onto an overhead flying lucky bat, various potted plants and viewing stones, and a thick ring around the pot's upper and bottom ends. Vintage Chinese ink and color on paper painting by Zhang Kuan (1921-2009) of two ducks swimming among cherry blossoms. Signed in black ink at the upper left and with three red artist's seals. Zhang Kuan was an active painter for over 50 years. By the 1960s, he began to specialize in bird and flower paintings. Including the silk mounting, the painting measures 32 1/2” x 21 3/4” (painting: 26 1/2” x 17 7/8”). Very good overall condition. From a Phoenix, Arizona collection.

1960's Chinese green and white jadeite carving of lotus and bamboo on a custom wood stand. A frog is perched on one of the lotus leaves and a bamboo stalk in the background serves to hold calligraphy brushes or fresh flowers. In excellent condition, it measures 7.25" high, on stand 8.75" high, 5.5 across, and about 3.5" deep.

A vintage Chinese low table with 3 drawers made of Huanghuali. Top has a floating panel surrounded by a mitered frame. Each drawer front has a carving of 3 dragons. With beaded edge and inverted horse hoof feet.

A lovely Chinese translucent natural gray agate calligraphy brush with a bone ferrule and end cap. Brush is natural hair. The beads are slightly smaller than most, each measuring only .75" diameter (across) x 1" long. It is just beautiful. Brush measures 11.75 inches long.

A large hand carved pale celadon cucumber with a yellow nephrite jade blossom and dark green jade leaves. Wonderful piece for the collector of jade fruit and vegetables. As a decorative item, it displays well and will not go unnoticed. Measures 10.5 inches long.

Very nice piece of Chinese hardstone fruit. The leaves are a translucent green jade with the persimmon being rose quartz. There are two small legs in the back for positioning and stability. In excellent condition, it measures as displayed 4" across.

Richly enameled with vibrant colors this snuff bottle features a bee headed towards a group of flowers. The cap is a red stone and the bottle is hand painted and signed on the bottom. A nice piece for the beginning collector which will only increase in value over time. Measures 3.75 inches high.
