Charming Chinese acrobat in a handstand atop a natural rootwood base. The acrobat is hand carved out of boxwood. He wears shorts tied at the waist and a pair boots. His hair is tied back and he has a goatee. Very finely carved. It is from the Ching Dynasty, 19th century. It measures 27 tall, about 18" wide at the base. Excellent original condition.

Excellent opium pipe stem cleaner, fine condition and all original parts. Bamboo sheath, iron cleaning rod and copper opium poppy pod shaped finial handle. Circa late Qing Dynasty. Total length 54cm/21.2in.

Confirmed by the experts at Sotheby's in Hong Kong to be the only surviving painting by 13th Century Chinese Southern Song Artist Chen Jue 陳珏(款). Signature and two seals. Ink and colors on silk, framed. 19.5 x 12.75 inches, 49.5 x 32.5 cm.

One nice wood stand obtained traditional scholar mood.

It is in good patina and preserved in perfect condition without any defects.
The excellent manual craftsmanship convinced us that it was a piece of art originated from good date.

Old Chinese carved stone birdbath. Made in 2 pieces that fit together nicely, the bottom is a Buddhist lion. The bowl has vague dragon like carving around the exterior. No condition issues. South China/North Vietnam Yao Shaman Ka Dong Deity Ritual Mask. This fine old mask would have been used in the same family for several generations to perform rituals such as those for a newborn baby and maturation.
