$650.00 A well-made ink-stone box of heavy, rose wood (hongmu). The lid inlaid with thin bamboo slips to form a sentence of four characters reading: “Auspecious Blessings as You Please (Jixiang ruyi).” Late Qing, ca. 1900. L 24 cm, W 15 cm, H 5 cm. Condition: Perfect (very minor wear due to use).

$685.00 1950s era Chinese Rose Quartz brush washer styled as a pond having a hand carved amethyst Mandarin duck resting on the only flat spot on top. The rose quartz of a high quality and finely polished. The duck is well carved and pegged into the top and you can turn it slightly. However, I would not know if you would be asking for trouble if you tried pulling it out. A beautiful piece, it measures 4.5” long, 2.5” wide, and 2” high including duck.

Two of the segments show people in characteristic Chinese costumes and the other two are showing richly painted birds and flowers. The head of the Immortal is partly carved while the body and partly the stand are naturally shaped. Made of two parts fixed together. Ming Dynasty, 17th cent. H. 20,5 cm. Condition: very good patina with some wear .

sold Cup with handles cut from white Celadon jade. Decorated with “nails” in relief in the archaic style. The two handles stand out widely from the cup. The handles of this type of cup were most often damaged and restorers have partially reduced or even completely eliminated them. The one presented here has exceptionally preserved its handles in their entirety. One of the two has probably been slightly damaged and ground as we can see in the photos...

The hollowed transparent holes are covered with glaze to form the ever popular rice pattern. Various symbols such as the sunburst represent the Emperor and bats for good fortune, on the underside of the teacup are various Doaist symbols. Tea cup measures 2.75" diameter x 2" high, saucer measures 4" diameter x 1" high". In excellent condition without hairlines or chips.
