This mezzotint is titled "Play-I", numbered 20/70 of its series, and hand signed by the artist in pencil.

Antique Japanese ikebana basket, for display of flower arrangements. The piece is all hand-woven with bamboo with a wide rounded mouth, and squared base. The handle is made with braided thin sections of bamboo, secured at the sides with knots. The basket interior holds a striped bamboo vase.

A bronze foodog that was a finial on a larger bronze piece of art. The shishi is well formed with good detail, and has a beautiful patina. The dog/lion measures about 3 1/2" high x 3 1/2" long, and dates to the 19th Century or earlier. The condition is very good. The only damage is to the base where it was broken off. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

All three have inlaid eyes. A wood ojime bead and a netsuke in the form of a smiling tiger is attached to the string. Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery tomb figure depicting a male attendant with short beard and mustache dressed in a belted gown and wearing a red hood. 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with cold painted facial features and much original pigment remaining. Typical losses. The flat base is sightly slanted so the figure does not stand upright without a support. From an old Tucson, Arizona collection. Purchased from a California gallery in the 1990s.
