Japanese Meiji period three-case boxwood inro carved on the front with two oni or animal creatures peering out from the trunk of a tree. The back holds a bearded man holding a sword or knife. All three have inlaid eyes. A wood ojime bead and a netsuke in the form of a smiling tiger is attached to the string. A two-character “Nissho” signature within a circular cartouche is embedded on the bottom. 19th century...

Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery tomb figure depicting a male attendant with short beard and mustache dressed in a belted gown and wearing a red hood. 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with cold painted facial features and much original pigment remaining. Typical losses. The flat base is sightly slanted so the figure does not stand upright without a support. From an old Tucson, Arizona collection. Purchased from a California gallery in the 1990s.

Japanese woven Bamboo Ikebana Flower Basket with thin Bamboo insert, Ca. 1930, 16" high include handle, 3" square-bottom, 2 3/8" round-top rim, 6 1/4" high for handle, 10" high for basket only. Bamboo insert is cracked, basket is in good condition, no damages.

Silk crepe kimono with modern design whose techniques are katazome (stencil-resist-dye) and hand-painting. In excellent condition except for a few stains in the top collar, however unvisible as it is folded inside, and light blue color slightly faded in the jointing parts of the body and sleeves. 1960s or 70s. 130cm x 146cm

Japanese heavy Brocade silk Shrine Uchishiki, or altar cover, Meiji period, 1868-1912, 26" x 26" square, Gold and Silver brocaded double Phoenix birds in the gold metallic background and narrow bands of egg plant color background between. Water stain in one corner on the silk backing, not in front, otherwise the condition is good, still retain the thread to keep the edges flat. There are some writings in the back, but not able to read.

18 Pieces of Japanese Earthenware Chopstick and Spoon rest in 3 signed Wooden Boxes, 5 each in one box, and 3 are not in box, total 18 pieces, with Satsuma style hand painted floral design in crackle glaze, 1940's, 2" to 2 1/4" long. The condition is good.

Junrei's hakui (pilgrim's hanten) with many stamps of holy places in Shikoku, which is made of white hand-spun cotton. The ink letters reads "Shikoku Hachiju-hachi-ka-reisho" which means eighty eight holy places in Shikoku. It seems that the pilgrim visited all the eighty eight holy places. In good condition. The first half of the 20th century. 114cm x 87cm

This is a Japanese antique Hemp kasuri child kimono. It has a thin slight stain. But that doesn't stand out. It has no damage and is in very good condition. I would recommend it to your collection. Size:Length:90cm / 35.4inch Cuff to cuff, across the back: 102cm / 40.１inch

Very nice small Japanese bronze bowl with a slightly flared lip. May have been used on an alter for offerings or to burn incense. Beautiful warm patina with nice weight to it, this bowl measures 3" across the top by 1.25" high. Dates circa 1850.

A nice Japanese bronze suiteki or water dropper in the shape of a coin. In very good condition, it measures about 2 inches long and a little over an inch high. Dates circa 1930's.

Antique Japanese small box made all of sugi (cryptomeria) wood. 5 shallow drawers and one larger drawer on the bottom. Iron rings for drawer pulls.

Yukata (cotton unlined kimono) with shibori (tie-dye) whose motifs are tomoe (three-way), aboshi (fishing net being dried) and a logo with the character uma (horse). The shibori techniques are: Miura shibori and Ori-nui shibori (folded and stitched). It is hand-sewn and all tie-dye is by hand. Vegetable indigo dyed. In excellent condition. 20th century. 126cm x 131cm

The size of Fubako: 11 1/2" Long x 8 9/16" Wide x 2 1/16" High. This is beautiful and classy Japanese Shunkei Lacquer Fubako (stationary box) with fine Japanse Brocade design with flower and karakusa design. Inside has lavender color velvet inside cover as well as inside bottom. The condition of Fubako excellent. It never been used. There is no warping. No scratch and wear. It has the date on the back of box Showa 54. (1979) Sept. 6th. It said as the appreciation of many long years working...

Rare and authentic 19th century Edo period Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) titled “Susaki, New Year’s Sunrise after Snow” from the earliest known series of “Famous Views of the Eastern Capital” (Toto Meisho) dated 1831-1832. This image is considered to be the masterpiece of the ten-print set. Signed “Ichiyusai Hiroshige” at the upper right. The series and image titles are within the image at the upper right...

Noren made of hand-spun cotton and vegetable dyed (probably kakishibu) and all hand-sewn. It has "Yotsume" family crest. In excellent condition. The second half of the 19th century. 122cm x 126cm
