$950.00 Very rare tomesode with blue birds. A light to medium weight crepe silk decorated with yuzen dyeing techique and small touches of silk embroidery. On the front panels each bird’s head and throat is embroidered using satin stitch method. Some of the leaves are accented with fine gold threads at their edges and a small grouping of flowers are decorated with very small French knots.
The back is plain, except for three white mon (family crests). The painted design is repeated in the lining...

Sold A rare octagonal porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue with a flowering bush by a rock, along the border stylized Chinese characters. The rim glazed brown, the base with three spur marks and a "fuku" mark within a double square. Dating to the early Edo period. Condition: well with little scratches, rim with 3 tiny frits and two chips, and one chip under the glaze (photo 8). Dimension: diameter: 20 cm, 3.2 cm high.

The front of the hat has the gilt paulownia leaf mon (family crest) with the top decorated with a three prong yari forming a trident.

$950.00 Japanese early 20th century iron kettle by KIRYUDO. This pot is done with a pair of crane on a pine tree design in low relief on the front side of the kettle. The handle on the lid is done in the shape of a pine cone. KIRYUDO is done in chop mark on the back side of the kettle along with some other illegible characters. This iron pot measures 9 3/4" tall (from base to top of upright handle), 7 1/2" wide and 7 1/8" deep.
