$2800.00 A well potted rouleau vase finely decorated with famille verte enamel, depicting Zhongkui gathering with his younger sister in a garden, not far from them under a sycamore tree, a goblin is taking care of Zhongkui's nephew. Late 19th century, Guangxu period. The vase is in excellent condition, the only flaw is some old chips inside the foot rim. Height: 43 cm.

Meiji period, late 1890-1900, 24 1/2" high, 24" wide, 12" deep, 2 sliding doors on top inlaid with Mother of Pearl Plum flowers with low relief Lacquered tree branches above 3 small drawers, one large drawer above 2 drawers in lower section, black iron mounted around corners, leaf design on handles. The condition is as used condition directly imported from Japan, no restoration work was done on this small Cha Tansu.

Large Japanese Imari porcelain charger decorated in a free-form pattern of underglaze blue geometric, floral, and phoenix bird patterns with overglaze polychrome and gilt highlights. Two white floral areas in the center are raised in slight "moriage" relief, giving the charger a rich texture. The underglaze blue decoration on the back surrounds a six-character apocryphal Chinese Ming dynasty Chenghua reign mark. Water stain in one corner on the silk backing, not in front, otherwise the condition is good, still retain the thread to keep the edges flat. There are some writings in the back, but not able to read.
