$450.00 A finely carved Chinese boxwood statue of the Tang poet Li Bai. Dressed in official attire with a scroll in his right hand, Li Bai appears to be deep in thought as he strokes his beard. Attached to a wooden base, it measures 9.5 inches high as pictured. Base measures 3.5” square. Condition is excellent. Dates circa 1900.

The pipe measures 9 1/2" long which includes the bamboo extension. The pipe is from the Meiji period (1868-1912). The Pipe is in good condition with some small scratches and dents from use. The most wear is near the tobacco bowl. The asking price includes free shipping within the USA.
