A charming white jade belt hook was exquisitely carved in dragon's head shape. By the precious Hertien pebble quality, the jade piece was reflected with fine greasy-feel sheen on the surface. Characteristic old jade's tissues were revealed under the reflection when some incursions were occurred to the material verifying its authenticity. Date: Ming Dynasty ,1368-1644 Length:8.3cm, Width: 1.3cm, Weight: 30 grams. Condition: Perfect. Sold($10) Description:
A gilt silver plaque was well decorated with motifs of QiLinSongZi, a most popular Chinese metaphor of the fairy animal Qilin sending child to the vowing family. By characteristic Chinese scenes of pagoda, plum trees, Qilin and the figure riding through the water waves, the picturesque scene was well carved and chiseled by excellent craftsmanship. It was a piece most likely a buckle on the cloth belt. There're old drilling holes on four corners for sewing thread.

Sold to UK - August 2011 售至英国 - 2011年8月 A 16th/17th Century eight-sided bronze censer (incense burner) made in China during the late Ming dynasty (circa 1550-1644). Condition, very good - two of the feet have been secured by rivets one with an associated split and there is a small 0.8cm long thin gap below the rim - all possibly dating to the time of manufacture (please view enlargements 7,8 and 9). Dimensions - 14cm (5.5inches) across; 8.5cm (3.3inches) high.

By characteristically dated features on the faces of the deity and the baby, the figures were well carved on the robes with affluent lines.
