sold thank you Japanese antique shiko & benibana-dye itajime(katazome) silk child kimono yosegire(patched) edo era(1800-1867).It is shiko & benibana-dyeing of natural.It has a few thin stains. However, The stain does not stand out.It is no damage.They are not disturbing, and as a whole it is in very good condition.

sold, thank you A massive Shigaraki Tsubo by Kanzaki Shiho enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Spectacular keshiki resulting from the combination of multiple kiln affects and textures. The Tsubo is 19-1/2 inches (50 cm) tall, 15 inches (38 cm) diameter and in perfect condition, dating circa 1990. Due to size the cost of shipping will be figured separately from the list price.

$35,000.00 A very rare Chinese veneer huanghuali cabinet with the original marble inserts. The back of the cabinet still has the original fiber coating that was used during the Ming and early Ching Dynasties. This cabinet was most likely made during the transitional period from Ming to Ching.

Condition: All original. The drawers are probably a replacement. Normal wear.

An iconic work in pale white by Living National Treasure Tsukamoto Kaiji enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Hakuji Wakaba-mon Dai-zara (Footed white porcelain dish decorated with young leaves. The execution is breathtaking, so perfectly formed it demonstrates clearly the talent for which he was named a Living National Treasure. It is 23.5 cm (9-1/2 inches) square, 5.5 cm (2 inches) tall and is in excellent condition.

"Made in Japan" stamped on verso. Condition: Excellent with two small surface spots. This design is not listed in the Hotei catalog.

This antique Japanese Marquetry box is a good example of the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail that marked the Japanese Meiji Period. The sides of the lid have scalloped opening which ease the removal opening of the box which was probably designed for glove storage.

The top of the piece has a wide compartment behind two sliding panel doors, with two open shelves below. Its sides are carved with a reticulated honeycomb design. The bottom of the chest has two Persimmon burl sliding panels opening to a lovely shelved interior with foliate carved paneling and two small drawers.

SOLD Large antique canopy wedding bed, originating from Indonesia for the Chinese market. Elaborately carved with gilt reticulated panels depicting various animals, flora, and mythical creatures along the top front of the canopy, with gilt filigree along the side posts. The legs are carved as scrolling dragons and birds in red, black, and gilt lacquer. A shelf runs along the canopy back with side compartments. Early 20th century.
