The inscription on the top right, (Japanese: Gakusoka, Chinese: Xuesu jia) refers to a person who upholds or revives knowledge or education. Over 110 years old Chinese Buddha head mounted on a high class wood base.

It is made of fine natural stone and has a nice patina. This mounted statue is part of the Van Norten Collection since 60 years and has been exhibited in our private house since then. Wonderful, age related condition.

An antique Chinese long table carved with motif of scrolling clouds and a type of fungus knowns as Lingzhi, an auspicious motif and an actual fungus used in Chinese medicine. The table overall has an appearance possibly done in the taste of a literati scholar. Age: 20th century Size: length 65.5" width 26.5" height 36"

Condition small minute chips on mouth rim otherwise perfect.

Porcelain bowl, the exterior decorated with the "100 antiques" motif in the doucai palette. The interior with bats around an auspicious character in overglaze red and some gold. The base with a six character Guangxu mark in underglaze blue. Condition: fine, except a tiny rim chip (see last picture) and a minuscule bubble burst. Dimension: diameter: 16 cm, 6.8 cm high.

A vibrant Chinese cloisonné round covered box with lotus flowers and scrolling tendrils on a black ground. with fish scale pattern. With no condition issues, this lovely box measures 2.5” high by 3.5” in diameter. Marked CHINA on bottom, we date this circa 1900.

This is a very fine and unusual Japanese Satsuma vase with relief figures. The work on this piece is highly detailed and the gold thickly applied. The Dragon and clouds are decorated with silver. The piece is in very good condition will minor wear. The Artist signature is the most worn area on the piece. With magnification it can be seen that it is signed Fuzan but it is very hard to make out. I have included a similar Fuzan mark for comparison. The vase stands 8 1/2 inches tall.

Pair kesi badges without rank insignia. With background only, we assume this must either mean it was for a student candidate not yet with rank or perhaps awaiting the addition of rank insignia (if it was appropriate to embroider or stitch onto a kesi badge.)
