This is a very special Japanese cloisonne vase. It is signed Ota Kichisaburo. The vase is loaded with intricate fine work and it is only 6 inches tall. Also note in some of round wire designs there are silver wires that were fused perpendicular to the ribbed form and others are filled with colored enamel. The vase is in excellent condition.

this is a large antique hand-made pair of earrings of low grade silver, lots of filigree work...Though obviously not wearable for most Westerners, the make a wonderful ethnographic, tribal arts display.

Antique Chinese porcelain bowl of a thin form, with gilt rim and yellow enamel inner rim with peaches and lucky bats. The inside center has a red dragon with gilt accenting. The outer body of the bowl has two colorful powder blue and pink-red dragons flying over waters. The bottom of the bowl is marked Guangxu period (1875-1908). Very small loss on rim. This is really an exquisite piece of Japanese Satsuma. It is signed by Seikozan who was one of the finest satsuma artists. The pot is not overly large being 6 inches tall and 6 1/2 across including the spout/handle. The Condition is fabulous. This is a great piece of Satsuma especially at this price.

An impressive magnifying glass with a carved ivory handle with 18 natural red coral beads. We believe the ivory handle to be a Meiji period Japanese parasol handle and sometime in its history converted to a magnifying glass. In very good antique condition with all beads intact, the handle measures 5 inches x 1 1/8". Magnifying glass with handle is 10.5 inches long.

Beautifully hand carved antique Chinese lime stone seated buddha. The buddhas is dressed in long flowing robes draping the lower body in soft pleats.
