This is a very fine and highly decorated cloisonne vase from Ota. I has 6 different panels and loads of detail and colorful scroll work. The hardwood (Rosewood or Mahogany) stand is old an is included with the vase. The vase stands 6 inches tall and is in excellent condition.

Chinese porcelain vase in clair de lune glaze. Six characters Qianlong mark, we date it to Guangxu period based on the written style of the mark and other factors. Condition: There is one chip on the foot rim, no other damage besides this. Height: 14"

Antique Japanese 4 panel screen with rooster and hen. This unusual screen has gold lacquered open lattice work backed with the original sheer white silk. A beautiful scene of a blossoming plum tree, yellow daisies and chickens makes up the carved and painted foreground. The bottom portion of each panel is pierced carved and painted with scenes of rocks and cymbidium orchids.

Very regal late Meji Period C.1910 bronze buddhist temple altar lantern on a black and gold lacquered wood stand with copper metal fittings. Great condition. Total height 16" by 5" wide. Ask for shipping quote.

Three thin and lovely cups and saucers with underglaze blue reserves of landscapes, birds and couples against an iron-red and gilt background. All parts marked Mikawachi where most Hirado porcelain of the period was made. An extra saucer to go with the rest, without cost. Height of cups "2¼/ 5,8 cm, diameter of saucers "4/ 10 cm. A 19th - early 20th century very large "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design of royal scenes and dancing girls. The box is divided into four pieces. The bottom part for betel leaves and the top part for lime, areca nuts, clove and other ingredients. Size:H. 25.5cm Diameter: 27cm. Condition: No repairs, an old chip on upper rim and some age cracks on the two bottoms. See last photos.

A set of six plates with a central floral arrangement in a dragon flanked base surrounded by eight alternating panels of florals and scenes. The back is signed in Chinese style referring to the Ming Dynasty. Age: Late Taisho Period. Size: Diameter. 12.3cm. Condition: Perfect.

This is an extremely fine Japanese Cloisonne vase with gold wire decorations.It measures just 3 1/2 inches tall so it is much finer and more exquisite in person. It is not signed. The fine workmanship on this piece was most likely done by Hayashi Kodenji as only an elite few could have ever created such a piece. The enamel colors and character of the bird also match Hayashi's work. Condition is excellent.
