SOLD This is a beautiful pair of mixed metal decorated bronze vases. They are highly detailed and stand just 5 inches. Both vases are signed Miyabe Atsuyoshi. One vase has a lightly bent rim otherwise the condition of the pair is excellent.
A small collection of six clothing buttons made of different metal alloys with gilding and silver inlays. Two are showing a dragon, two pieces with a face and two buttons with decorative motifs. Condition: few traces of usage and wear, Need a professional cleaning. Dimension: diameter: 1.9 cm to 2.3 cm.

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty 19th century Han Chinese woman's silk robe embroidered with peonies, orchids & chrysanthemums, peaches, "Buddha's Hand", butterflies, etc, smooth mid-night blue silk ground, together with matching sleeves bands; Collar and border trims are embroidered with flowers; inside backed with light blue lining.
The robe is in excellent condition, lots of bright embroideries, clean, no fray or wear, shoulder lines have no wear or split.

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty 19th century Han Chinese woman's robe, with double dragon roundels, and embroidered sleeve bands executed in Peking stitch; ; Collar and border trims are embroidered with flowers & butterflies; backed with light pink lining.

Sold This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne vase done in the style of Namikawa Yasuyuki. It is not signed but we believe it was made by Honda, another great Meiji era artist. The enamels are rich in color and this heavy vase has a superb high gloss sheen. It stands 4 3/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition.

On Hold DESCRIPTION: A fine and very sculptural Chinese Duan ink stone in the form of a bell with a deeply carved water well on one end, and a flaring flat surface on the other for mixing ink. The stone is raised on two elongated prong feet, between which is a five character inscription. SOLD Ohara Koson
Torii with Lantern and Deer Size: Yoko chu-tanzaku. Approximately 14.5 x 5.50 inches. Date: 1900-1910. Bears Koson signature and seal. Publisher: Kokkeido. Bears Kokkeido seal. Reference: K44.12 and plate 28 in Crows, Cranes and Camellias: The Natural World of Ohara Koson (Reigle Newland). Medium: Japanese woodblock print. Condition: Some foxing (stabilized). Four small wear holes visible when held to light. This intricate floral embroidery panel may have been part of a larger piece which probably predates the carved frame that now houses the panel.
The background silk is a rich dark brown and the ornate floral display can be positioned either horizontally or vertically.
During the framing process, sometime between 1900-1920, The fragment was glued to a cardboard backing...where it remains today...
10.5 inches x 23 inches includes frame
One made of silver alloy in the "bira-bira" style, showing a blossom with tiny coral beads forming the center and attached butterflies. The second one is a "tama" kanzashi with pierced mixed metal ball showing floral decoration. Both ending in a mimikaki (ear spoon). Condition: the first one with missing butterflies. The second one with minimally bent prongs and little wear. Dimension: 17 cm and 16 cm long.
