An important Vase decorated with the imperial symbols of 16 petal chrysanthemum and Go-shichi Nobori Kiri among over-glaze bamboo and floral designs by Ito Tozan I enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 8-3/4 inches (22.5 cm) tall (excluding the base) and in superb condition and comes wrapped in a stamped silk bag.

$4,000.00 A beautiful pair of Chinese end tables with gorgeous dark burl front drawers, burl top, and sides with a warm rosewood frame. The drawers have metal pulls and have a deep red interior. The edging along the bottom of each table is carved with spiral designs.Very heavy, dates from the early 20th century.

Heart-shaped purse embroidered on both sides in counted stitch with bats in gold thread among clouds. Burgundy colored drawstring and tassels with silver and gold threads, paper lining. Condition: fabric of the aperture somewhat brittle. Dimension: 9.5 cm x 8.5 cm x c. 1.5 cm.

Antique Chinese pair of beautiful rosewood cabinets that have been skillfully carved with the image of two mirrored dragons surrounded by smoke motifs on the front doors, lucky bats holding strands of coins with auspicious characters on the sides, and also the Shou symbol between two bats along the bottom panel which doubles as a large drawer. The inside has upper and lower shelving and two large drawers side by side. Date from the early to mid 20th century.

$1,200.00 Antique Chinese blue and white charger with two phoenixes standing one in front of the other, surrounded by flowering motifs upon a solid cobalt blue background, floral and speckling patterns along the inner rim. The underside has a rugged foot outlined in a single blue ring, and swirling patterns. Dates from the Ming dynasty. Most likely recovered from a shipwreck.

SOLD Antique Japanese two-section tansu from the Yonezawa region made from chestnut wood "Kuri", comes with a stand. Its large iron locks are incised with cherry blossoms and scrolling vines. Each drawer has mokko (melon) iron handles mounted on pierced backplates, and has pierced floral motif corner hardware. Its lockbox and the two drawers concealed within open with dual fish shaped iron pulls.
