On Hold A Chinese white jade carving depicting a boy playing on a "money tree on a mountain, and above a Lingzhi fungus. Late Qing Dynasty to early Republican period. Condition: Extensive brown inclusions, age cracks, small chips, please see photos for condition details.
High with hardwood base: 6-7/8", without base: 5-1/2".
A bamboo carving depicting a peasant or fisherman smoking a long pipe. Dating to the late Qing or early Republic Period. Condition: three small losses (photo no. 8 and no. 9). Dimension: total height: c. 21 cm.

"Sold" to USA A rare, attractively enamelled, figure of the Bodhisattva and Japanese "Goddess of Mercy", Kannon.. Unusually, she is seated on a large boulder inhabited by a writhing white glazed dragon.
This item was made in Japan in the Meiji period, during the 19th or early 20th Century
Condition: two very minor losses - a chip to one of the dragon's horns and a small chip to the bottom of the dragon's tail.
