Add a touch of class to any sleeve with this pair of vintage gold plated damascene toggle back cuff links. Damascene was an process of inlaying metal objects with 22K gold or silver decoration. These dome shaped cuff links were made in Japan, circa 1950 featuring a mythical Imperial phoenix bird surrounded by flora and fauna, unmarked, swivel toggle back. Size: 7/8" diameter. Very good vintage condition with wear to the dome.

Beautiful Japanese maru obi! Obis can be used as a belt to hold a kimono together. The classic design from the Heian Period (794-1192AD) of ox carts, fans and court music instruments run throughout the front and back. A rarely encountered Japanese "shin hanga" woodblock print titled "Sunset Glow at the Skirt of Mt. Fuji" by Ito Takashi (1894-1982), published by Watanabe in the second month of 1952. Fine Japanese miniature garden kit, all made with natural material, ca 1940-1960, original wood box. We used a simple cardboard box as a tray with small black pebbles under. You can created/draw water if the sand is used instead. The dimension of the box are 15 3/4” x 7 3/16” x 3 5/8”. Fence: 9 1/8 long (flattened for storage) x 3 3/4” high.
