Paper size: 15 1/4" x 10 1/2" (image: 15 1/8" x 10 1/4). Very good overall condition and color. Trimmed margins. A color illustration of this print can be found on page 111, plate 338, of the 2003 catalogue produced by the Kiyoshi Saito Museum of Art, Yanaizu.

Zhang Kuan was an active painter for over 50 years. By the 1960s, he began to specialize in bird and flower paintings. Including the silk mounting, the painting measures 32 1/2” x 21 3/4” (painting: 26 1/2” x 17 7/8”). Very good overall condition. From a Phoenix, Arizona collection.
