A rare Pyu carved calcedony tiger with its 4 paws, upper back, and tail in carnelian red (presence of iron oxides in the stone). The body of the tiger is elongated with a curled up tail. Tigers of this type and age are difficult to find, especially ones that are intact. The 24 karat heavy gold woven chain and gold bar (through the tiger) were recently added, making it wearable as a choker necklace..

A pair of ancient glass earrings. The glass is very light in weight and encrusted with soil from being buried for such a long period. Can be cleaned by soaking in warm water. The earrings are of a hooped shape that is simple and very elegant in form.

An unusual and rare Pre-Columbian necklace of ancient ivory-colored petrified Scorpian eggs and ceramic disc beads that were discovered together (it was restrung in Columbia). A very unusual & original Han well with the "jing" design, symbol for well and two intertwined snakes for the handle. There is some iridescence at the bottom of the base of the green glaze from age. Green glaze was used to make it look like bronze. Size: H. 30.5cm W.16cm. Condition: Very small repair on the underside of the rim, otherwise in very good condition. See photo.

A rare slope-shouldered bronze bell with stand from the Dong Son culture in Vietnam. At the shoulders and at the base are large curl designs with a bull's head in the center and animals around the bell.

A very rare white porcelain Song qingpai ewer with a clear pale bluish glaze. The body and shoulder of the vase have skillfully executed free-flowing scraffiato designs of florals and leaves. The tall cylindrical neck is encircled at the base by two horned dragons whose heads meet at the spout. The grooved loop handle is further decorated with eight small balls. Rare and endearing figure of a young boy disciple of Quanyin (the Goddess of Compassion) wearing a garment etched with a lotus flower - the symbol of Buddhism. He is often depicted near Quanyin with his hands in reverential prayer. The bronze is heavily cast and has wires imbedded underneath the pedestal, perhaps for attaching to a group of figures. A Kushan gold necklace delicately strung with very small ancient lapis lazuli beads (approximately 24 beads to an inch). There are 12 gold coins with images of 6 ancient kings - six on each side. There are 2 kings that we recognize - one is Vasudeva I, the other is "Ohsho" holding an elephant goad, thunderbolts, a trident and a goat. The center bead is a oblong fluted gold bead. There are also two blue glass beads flanking the central gold bead. Wearable.

A very rare Jin Dynasty Greenware jar with three lugs typical of that era. The green glaze going two thirds of the way down the vase. The inside is glazed also. Comes with a certificate from the Chinese Government Auction House. Size H. 47 cm. Condition: Very nice glaze. No repairs. A fine kiln crack around the bottom unglazed area that does not go through the inside.
