A set of three blue and white saucer plates, the back brown glazed, so called Batavia ware. Decoration of bamboo, peony and a rock. Yongzheng to early Qianlong, first part of the 18th century. Diameter "5½/ 13,5 cm. Condition: small repair to the border of one plate, all with hairlines.

Its a Shino Chawan with fantastic glaze and a perfect kintsugi gold repair. Once you hold it in your hands you will refuse to give it back. A fine and very rare pair of monochrome rouleau shaped porcelain vases with apple green lustrous glaze; the base and interior are glazed white. There are old collector's labels to the base.
