Up for sale is a red silk Chinese dragon robe, most likely a bride's wedding dress; embroidered with 5-claw dragons chasing flaming pearl, clouds, sea waves, foo dogs, phoenixes, butterflies,bats,and other Toaist auspicious objects executed in forbidden stitch, long & wide sleeves; backed with light green silk lining; excellent condition, bright red silk ground.

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Qing dynasty Manchu woman's informal domestic robe in the style of Empress Dowager Cixi's ( Ts'u Hsi) reign; late 19th ; intricate embroideries with plums and butterflies in a light green silk ground, vibrant colors ! Front enclosure to the right with 5 large gilted toggle-and-loop buttons, and backed with pink color lining. The robe is in excellent condition.

Circa 19th Century. The guardians are often kept as personal daily worship at household and decoration. Signed Shugetsu. The seal reads Hara. It is attributed to one of prominent doll make artists, first Hara Shugetsu. It is in fine condition.

$950.00 This is a fine early Japanese Satsuma Koro done in the early or Gosu style. The stained decorative lid appears to be bronze. In person it is more detailed and attractive than the images show. Of note on the inside rim there is a fired factory flaw that is shown in the last image. Condition is excellent it stands 4 inches tall.

Interestingly, the top of the table contains repairs where the restorer created patterns of fish and pineapples to fill in holes on the surface of the table. Age: 19th century.
